  I think crash could be my friend because he seems to be nice to his friends, he also seems to care about people like when penn gave crash the mud he was all the sudden nice, and he also likes to play sports like football which is fun and i like to play sports to. Crash seems like he is getting nicer now.

  Crash is nice to his friends. when mike and him are at the football games they are nice to each other. And when penn gave crash the mud crash was really nice to him

  Crash would absoloutley not be my friend. This is because he make judgements about people that sometimes ae negative. At the begining of the book, Crash in his head aw Penn. In his head he thought of Penn as a funny-looking dorky little runt. I f I was his friend, woudn’t like to be thought of that or anything close to that thought.

  Also, Crash does not respect others’ feelings. I the water gun fight,

  No, Crash wouldn’t be my friend, because he is a bully. An example of when Crash being a bully, was when he read Penn’s button, and it said Peace, and then he said (on page 6), “What kind of junk is that to say on a button?”

  Another reason why I wouldn’t want Crash to be friend is because he is a trouble maker. One thing he did tat made me think he is a trouble maker he started a food fight. ( on page

  No. He doesn’t seem like a person who would be my friend except he is kinda funny.

  Crash would not be my friend. He is a bully. The time that he squirted mustard in Penn’s shoes.The time that he shoved him across the floor at the dance suggests that he is a hothead. He also behaves extremely bad at school which says that he doesn’t care about anything but football.

  No. He might have some good jokes but he is a jerk and a big show off.
  #1: On pages 4-6 he tells Penn his name is Mergatroid, horse meat, Humphery.

  No. Even though he is funny he makes fun of kids. He is just a show-off jerk.
  Example 1: On page 6 crash says, ” Peace?” I snickered. ” What kind of junk is that to say on a button ?”
  That isn’t something anyone nice and caing would say.
  Example 2: On page 13 Crash says, ” You hambone, this ain’t war, this is water guns.”
  Any friendly guy would respect the fact Penn can’t use any sort of weapons.
  Example 3: On page 5 Crash tells Penn his real name is Mergatroid. A real friend would tell him his real name and be kind.

  No, I would not want be his friend because, he is very rude. When Crash is invited to dinner at the Webb`s house they don`t have a TV and Penn does not have a lot of toys, so he asks if they are poor. Another reason I would not want to be Crashes friend because, at the dance he wants to dance with Jane Forbes which is the girl he likes, when she tells him she does not want to dance he drags her on to the dance floor, and after she kicks him he tells her she has a “warthog face” and that is not how I would want someone to talk to me. My last reason why I would not want to be Crashes friend is, he bumps Penn on the dance floor and hurts him very badly at the dance, if I as his friend i would not think that was funny or a nice thing to do. These are the reasons why Crash would not be my friend.

  No, I would not like Crash to be my friend, because he seems like a person who doesn’t care about what he says and you can tell because he backtalks a lot. He was called a,”loose canon,” by his principal. It seems as if he only cares about himself and not others, just think about what Penn Webb feels, Crash and his friend are always picking on him. He also doesn’t care that what he does like when he tackled Scooter, his grandfather, he wasn’t thinking that he was very old and should be very careful of what he does around him. Also, he’s rude and says things that he really doesn’t mean like when h calls Jane Forbes, “warthog face,” he probably doesn’t mean it because he still likes her. That’s why I wouldn’t like Crash to be my friend.

  No, because I’m not a trouble maker like he is to Penn Webb. He squirted mustard on Penn Webb. He also went over to the Webb’s house for dinner. They were having vegetables when Crash spit them up. He also behaves bad at school. He doesn’t do his homework.

  Crash would not be my friend. He wouldn’t be my friend because he is a bully, for example when he put mustard in Penn’s shoes. Another reason Crash would not be my friend is because he is always bragging about how good he is at Football. For example when he said he was the best full back in the entire league. One final reason Crash would not be my friend is because he never pays attention during school.

  no crash wouldn’t be my friend because , he teased Penn in the begining of the book because he is gulible. If I was his neighbor he would tease me easily because I’m gulible.

  #2: On page 2 Crash says “What kind of a name is that?” I think that is not very nice to get into someones face and insult them about their name.

  #3: And on the first page when he gets his new football helmet he puts it on and decks his own cousin. Why would he do that?

  In the water gun fight, Crash did not respect that Penn was a Quaker. He kept shootng the water at Penn when, Penn was speachless and had no clue what to do in that situation.

  Also, Crash is extremely rude to people. He always thinks that he has to be better than anybody else. So when he was playing football with Scooter, he tackled him thinking he couldn’t be beat by his very own grandfather. Then when Scooter was in the hospital, Crash felt a little bit responsible for that.

  Crash would not be my friend! Crash would not be my friend because of how mean he is. When Crash was saying his name was something besides his real name I think is very rude and mean. Crash would also not be my friend because he is to aggresive like when he tackled his grandfather I mean his grandfather that is to aggresive. Crash would also not be my friend because if he thinks a kid is weird then he makes fun of them if you make fun of somebody then thats just plain out evil like when Penn comes in to town he makes fun of him why not just leave him alone.

  Cash would not be my friend because he is mean to other kids and he sometimes bullys them.If I where penn I would not count crash as my friend because he puts musterd in his shoes and other ways to make penn misrable . crash is all so the type of kid that fieghts whith his friends . If crash was cought with Penn than crash would be ticised and then he would never be nice to Penn.

  i would not want to be Crashs friend. he does not seem very nice. on page 4 he lies. he tells Penn that his name is mergatroid. then Penn calls him that and then Crash tells him that his name is Humphrey.
  i do not like lying.
  Crash has no respect . He does not think Penn is normal because he doesnt eat meat. he finds this out on page 22.

  Another reason why I wouldn’t want Crash to be friend is because he is a trouble maker. One thing he did tat made me think he is a trouble maker he started a food fight, ( in chapter 10). I wouldn’t want to be friends with a person gets in a lot of trouble.

  A third reason why I wouldn’t want Crash to be my friend is because he is rude.
